Proactive Postpartum
Call Center

What is it?

The Proactive Postpartum Call Center is an initiative designed to improve maternal health outcomes by ensuring postpartum women receive timely support and care coordination. Our team provides direct follow-up calls to women in the days after delivery, reinforcing key health information, identifying warning signs, and addressing barriers to care.

If you see a call from

"Arkansas Center for Women & Infants’ Health"

It’s us—please answer! Your health and well-being are our priority.

What to Expect:

Healing happens together. We are here to check in on you, answer your questions, and help connect you to any resources you may need. If you receive a call from us, it’s because your healthcare team wants to make sure you’re supported during this important time.

How it Works:

  • A nurse will call you within 7-10 days after delivery to check in on how you’re feeling.
  • We’ll discuss common postpartum concerns, including physical recovery, emotional well-being, and infant care.
  • If needed, we can connect you to local resources, lactation support, mental health services, and follow-up care.
